Happy Father's Day!

Kevin has always wanted a little girl. But lucky for me we got a little boy first so there is no rush to have another. Meanwhile he gets to love on baby Lilian who comes over during the weekdays and plays with us. This was Kevin's 3rd father's day, he's a veteran :)
The morning started off as we uncovered his gift from Caspian's closet.

Caspian loves gifts, getting and giving them. Daddy got a iHome radio/alarm/dock system for his father's day.

Caspian then decided that he wanted to paint his little clay car so while we were supposed to be getting ready to go to Bass Pro we painted instead.

He wanted us to get involved so he set up three chairs next to him so Mommy and Daddy could sit with him.

This is him yelling at me because I wouldn't stop taking pictures and he wanted me to "sit mommy"

His beautiful car is complete!
So we went to visit our friends the Zimmerlees and headed out to Bass Pro.
Daddy really wants one of these to go hunting in but perhaps in a few more father's days.

Bass Pro always has such interesting decor

Tommy is a big fisherman type of guy and little TJ is following his daddy's path quite well.

For some odd reason my son is terrified of gunshots but loves shooting things. Perhaps its because daddy has half a dozen guns and a gun cabinet he likes to polish and whatnot ever so often.

He trailed off to play with these rubber ducks, turkeys and quails.

something caught his attention

After a while shopping we stopped to have lunch. We all wanted to try their famous Alligator for appetizer but the restaurant was fresh out. So we opted for venison filled mushrooms instead.

I love this picture of TJ, his little smile lit up the place

For dessert we had a sample of fudge. Of which TJ ate mostly all of Vanessa's and Caspian stuffed ours in his mouth as soon as we got it so I went back and got a little piece of watermelon fudge, it was delicious!

Looking at the fish

For a few weeks now I've been looking for wagons for my Watermelon Wagon Petites. I found these and almost screamed in excitement. Too bad they were not for sale but I quickly devised a plan in which I would perhaps 'barrow' them. Of course they are too heavy to do so.

two handsome kiddos <3

Getting ready to go the boys got to play with even more motorized 'toys'.
After Bass Pro we made our way to Richmond Mall where we strolled and shopped and finished our day with Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. What a wonderful Father's Day!
