Sophia 6 Months - Stafford County Baby Child Photographer

Oh how time flies, I met Sophia at her newborn session when she was almost one month young. This sweet little baby girl quickly stole my heart with her sweet eyes and adorable chunky cheeks, and we all know how I cannot resist chubby cheeks. She slept through her entire newborn portrait session and her calm demeanor rings true to her six month session. Always so calm and observant, we put on her cute little outfits one after the other without protest. She wore an adorable little Minnie Mouse disney outfit complete with handmade ears, slipper and a little tail. Her mother also planned on capturing some of their heritage by having Sophia wear a traditional outfit from her home country in Germany. I just about had a ball! Having a little boy kind of limits on the things you can do as far as playing dress up. We finished up the session with some family shots in their bedroom, a completely amazing way to spend an afternoon! Enjoy!

Jenne

Caspian's 3rd Celebration of Life!

Caspian was born  in the middle of a three digit heat summer July 19th, 2009 at the Naval base in Twentynine Palms California. I wasn't due for five more days on Thursday July 24th but that early that Sunday morning I went into labor around 3 AM and was admitted to the hospital around 5, dilated but with no actual labor pain until around 11 AM. My mom and brother drove the two hour drive from Santa Ana, CA along with my pseudo family with his godmother and godfather to be. At 8:11 PM later that night I gave birth to my most precious of belongings, my beautiful little boy. He weighed just a hair away from 9 pounds, at 21 inches tall and was the cutest little butterball baby you've ever seen! We named him Caspian Jesseffer Gallmeier and our lives were never the same.

Today is a celebration of Caspian's third year of life. He's brought so much joy to our lives and I'll have to admit, a few pains and frustrations but we wouldn't change anything, he is our world. Babies are wonderful and a big part of me really wishes I had been a photographer sooner to have captured his firsts through my lens. So this is where you, my reader comes in, I want to capture your memories and so although today it may be Caspian's celebration of life, you are receiving the gifts!

My little peanut had his first portrait session at 3 weeks new. This image hangs in the hallway near my bedroom reminding me time goes by and they grow up so fast!
I slightly edited this image after purchasing the CD from the department store photography place of Caspian's Newborn session, his skin was just like most newborns, but nothing a little bit of love can't fix. .

Baby Joshua's Watermelon Wagon - Spotsylvania Photographer

We went out Sunday morning with the intent to photograph a couple of cuties including our own. My lovely assistant and friend Brittney did a superb job of helping me setup and photograph babies in the morning. Then we settled down to do Joshua's watermelon wagon session. The abandoned barn in Spotsylvania was what Brittney liked to call "spooky" but I refer to as "vintage charm". Here is an overview of baby Joshua's session during his watermelon wagon photography session with us. By the end even Brittney joined in, we had a blast!
