Super Debbie is Super & Cas' First Word Explosion!

Three days ago while I was out and about taking pics. Kevin watched Caspian all day on Sunday and when I finally returned I noticed a tremendous change in Caspian's vocabulary. Monday came and my hypothesis was confirmed. Caspian is having a word explosion! He not only repeats words that we say but he knows things that we've never said like "purple" and "airplane". His pronunciation is off course a little off but if I listen closely I can hear the words hidden in his sweet little voice.

Yesterday, Tuesday after Caspian's dentist appointment. He got a "B" for cleanliness, probably my fault because I have been neglecting to pin him down and force him to brush his teeth correctly. I am also too afraid to floss his teeth thinking that I may hurt him. Dr. Golden said his front tooth may be dying but it could take up to four years to do so but there was nothing we could do. Caspian got a "Dr. Golden Loves me" Sticker, some balloons and a pink ball to take home with him, also a spiffy new Diego toothbrush to replace his old one. :D

I took him out for ice cream and when we got home we had Jason over to play for a few hours. In the evening we received a wonderful package in the mail, Super Debbie's "Welcome Summer" package! Super Debbie is my good friend, Rus, from highschool's mom. I don't talk to him much anymore but his mom and I had kept contact throughout the years :D She sent us a cute little "welcome summer' sign with two american flag sandals attached and STEINBECK books to read for the summer! Each book had a sweet little note and synopsis written in front of it. I love Super Debbie!! <3

Caspian's Words & Donnie's Newborn Shoot

So today as I left the entire day to work on photography shoots and editing Caspian stayed with his daddy. This is unusual because he usually cannot leave my side. After doing the morning shoot with the two handsome little fellas, Cas and Jonathan I went home and slept for 2 hours.
Waking up refreshed and energized I had a sandwich and then worked on some editing for the Uszc family photos.

Finally receiving a response from Sabrina around 4PM I loaded up the truck again and took off to do Donnie's Newborn shoot. I was very excited because I have been prepping for this particular shoot for months! When I got there my little man was outside with his daddy shooting arrows in the Dehaven's front lawn. He immediately recognized the car and ran towards me with a bright smile on his face screaming "mommy!" I leaned in and gave him a couple of wet smooches all over his face. Then I proceeded with the newborn session. I have finally realized that obtaining an assistant is not only necessary but imminent. Carrying all of those things in and out of people's houses is extremely tiring.

So I set up my set and proceeded with the photos. The session went well, Donnie pooped on my green cheese cloth and on the white furry fabric. He had projectile pooping and peed twice on my new floordrop but it was all the more fun because we can look back years from now and say "you know what happened during your newborn shoot..." The best part is that we actually got him peeing on camera!

While my day was exciting and productive I think the most fascinating part of it all was listening to my little man develop his language skills. Out of nowhere he is now using Two-word sentences and recognizes colors! I was in awe when he picked up a plastic toy and said "Purple" Purple! where did he hear that? Perhaps watching Television is not a complete failure on my part since it is educational afterall.
