Nhan and Allen welcomed their tiny little love September 15th, 2012. The home was warm, boasted a view of a lake, with cathedral ceilings the light came streaming in lighting the entire apartment, this was our first newborn session in Alexandria. When we arrived, family was getting ready to get going back to New York. So we started with capturing a few moments with Nathan and his fraternal grandparents. This was a special treat as it is not always we are invited to capture extended family, specially during a newborn session and even more so finding out that he is the very first grandchild. We moved onto the beanbag poses per Nhan's request, she loves simple and beautiful, and that's just my style. Nathan did great sleeping very well and allowed us to pose him throughout. An extra special treat while we were in the Lo household, we were offered breakfast and even lunch as the session lasted into the early afternoon, another first. I feel so special and thankful to have met such wonderful and giving people. Our session concluded with the portraying of Nathan with mommy and daddy, some of my favorite shots ever! She's a teacher and he's a doctor, a humanitarian match made in heaven for an incredibly bright, successful and happy little man. Nhan and Allen are so kind hearted and easy going, just as I had suggested they should kiss, they broke into laughter, I loved being able to capture the joy of this time in their lives. Congratulations Lo Family, I hope to capture many more joyful moments for you soon!
