6:28 AM Lightly awake I plan my day with my eyes closed, finally decide to get up. I hear the television on downstairs. I head to the kitchen to prepare his lunch. Meanwhile Kevin sets out his first day of school outfit for him by the stairs. He leaves to work giving me a kiss goodbye.

6:58 AM I'm upstairs taking pictures of him sleeping. He wakes up and smiles, "I'm thirsty mommy?" I give him a hug and tell him I love him. He follows me to the stairs and I offer him a piggy back ride down.
7:24 AM We are eating breakfast, rice crispy cereal, milk and a bite of a pop tart. We brush our teeth, dress and I show him his lunch, he's excited.

7:44 AM Sue pulls up, I see her from the kitchen window, she tells me there are thunderstorms coming. Lily is here. We play.

8:23 AM Turn the television off, put Caspian's socks and shoes back on. Put lily in her carseat, gel & brush Caspian's hair. Kevin is home from PT, he helps me while I fumble my camera attempting to take pictures of Caspian's first day leaving the house, it gets hectic. Don't want to be late, Kevin puts Caspian in the car, I buckle Lily in, he watches us drive away with a sad look on his face.

8:44 AM We make it to the school, we are early. I take a few more pictures. Other mom's have their cameras, I don't feel so silly now. One of them takes our picture with my camera, her daughter is in the Dolphin class.

9:15 AM Preschool director Michelle opens the doors to Noah's Ark. We let everyone go in front of us. He holds my hand tight. Ms. Ellie & Ms. Sue welcome him in, he hangs his backpack and puts his lunch away. I take more pictures. Its time to go. I turn you around towards me, you look at me then down searching for Lily. I'm down on one knee and I tell you "I love you, have a good day at school. Mommy will be back in a little while. Be good." "I lah yooou mommy" I'm squeezing you tight and my eyes begin to water. Its time to go.
9:20 I watch you from outside your classroom, you are swinging your arms, happy. I read your lips, and your expressions, "HULK SMASH!" you say to Ms. Sue and she gifts you a warm hug. I know you'll be ok, you are ready. But I may not be...
9:24 AM I make it to the car, clenching my teeth fighting back the tears. Putting Lily in the car, she looks at me and grins her gummy smile through her paci. I miss you being this small.
9:38 AM I drive to Target to buy you a congratulatory gift. Squinkies, the first set, you'll love it.
9:57 AM Get home. I miss you. Go head first into my work, answering emails etc.
10:20 AM Sit down to write part one of this post.. Counting down the minutes.

12:47 PM I left the house to pick him up, didn't want to be late. Forgot my camera and my shoes, ran out in sandals.
1:05 PM Caspian playing puzzles with Ms. Sue. Another little boy's mom walks in with me and he looks up at her with a frown as she greets her child. Then you he sees me, smiles and run towards me, I pick him up and tell him I love him. He picks up his backpack and says its time to go home. Ms. Sue gives you a warm hug and you are so excited to disect your day with me.
The report: Ms. Sue said Caspian did very well, it was only when another little boy mentioned his momma that he said "I miss mommy. I missed him too. I'm so happy to know he was ready even though I was the one having a hard time today.
Caspian: I love you so much I am so proud of you. I know you enjoyed your gift (squinkies) and your first day of school. Always your mommy Jenne.
