Waking up refreshed and energized I had a sandwich and then worked on some editing for the Uszc family photos.
Finally receiving a response from Sabrina around 4PM I loaded up the truck again and took off to do Donnie's Newborn shoot. I was very excited because I have been prepping for this particular shoot for months! When I got there my little man was outside with his daddy shooting arrows in the Dehaven's front lawn. He immediately recognized the car and ran towards me with a bright smile on his face screaming "mommy!" I leaned in and gave him a couple of wet smooches all over his face. Then I proceeded with the newborn session. I have finally realized that obtaining an assistant is not only necessary but imminent. Carrying all of those things in and out of people's houses is extremely tiring.
So I set up my set and proceeded with the photos. The session went well, Donnie pooped on my green cheese cloth and on the white furry fabric. He had projectile pooping and peed twice on my new floordrop but it was all the more fun because we can look back years from now and say "you know what happened during your newborn shoot..." The best part is that we actually got him peeing on camera!
While my day was exciting and productive I think the most fascinating part of it all was listening to my little man develop his language skills. Out of nowhere he is now using Two-word sentences and recognizes colors! I was in awe when he picked up a plastic toy and said "Purple" Purple! where did he hear that? Perhaps watching Television is not a complete failure on my part since it is educational afterall.
